Faroon was the wife of Beyus, leader of the Lakertyans, and mother of Sarn. She was allowed access to the Rani's head quarters to keep him informed of what is happening with the Lakertyans, and to relay any orders from Beyus.
She met Mel on the surface of Lakertya, and it was Mel that told her of her daughter's death.
